Dimensional Letters with Plaque

Abstract: Starting with a design provided by the owner we then modified the design to produce a cost-effective, appealing, and permittable sign in a historic district.
Procedure: Township zoning was contacted to determine the signage codes in the area and then a site instpection was conducted to determine the signs in use and to take initial measurements.
Determination: The codes were reviewed and it was determined that the design would not meet with town codes. We felt that the codes may be a bit unreasonable for the circumstances and design and we therefore notified the client and went ahead with a design modification that we would send to zoning for pre-approval and comment. The design as shown was not the one initially submitted and is a compromised between the zoning codes and what we submitted. Coming Soon: The full story in PDF format
