Abstract: Replace an illuminated sign face with a design that has very fine details
Determination: It was obvious early on in the project that this sign would be produced using a digital graphic. The graphic was printed using translucent vinyl which was applied to the back surface of the sign and then backspray painted to highlight the colors in the graphic. Applying the print to the back surface mitigated the effects of weathering on the digital print.
